As Financial Architects, we build the financial structures Interior Designers need to turn their businesses into true wealth-building vehicles.

I didn’t set out to become a Financial Architect. The title wasn’t something found in a job description-it was something I built, just like the financial structures I now create for interior designers.

Before founding Propos’Ability, I worked at the intersection of accounting, business strategy, and financial advising. In 2015, I began working with my first interior design firm, where I spent the next five years fully immersed in the industry, working as the firms accounting manager, procurement coordinator, and project manager-simultaneously. This hands-on experience gave me an invaluable understanding of the industry's nuances, from the intricacies of project budgets to the unique financial challenges designers face. I quickly realized that traditional accounting alone wasn’t enough—interior designers needed a holistic financial blueprint that not only helps them stay organized but also drives long-term wealth and financial freedom.

As a small business owner myself, I understand the constant demands of running a business—managing staff, balancing client projects, and often feeling overwhelmed by financial concepts that seem unduly complicated. These challenges are the very reasons I’m so passionate about helping other women entrepreneurs gain the financial clarity and confidence they need to build sustainable, profitable businesses.

Propos’Ability was born from a desire to bridge the gap between accounting and business strategy for women-owned interior design businesses. We go beyond traditional accounting services by offering comprehensive financial strategies that empower designers to take control of their financial future. From creating custom tools to address the toughest aspects of managing projects and operations, to refining pricing structures, improving money management, and tackling inefficiencies, our goal is to help designers build both wealth and lifestyle freedom—all while preserving the creative freedom they love.

My mission is to empower women entrepreneurs with the tools, knowledge, and strategies they need to transform their businesses into vehicles for long-term success. I want to help interior designers create not just businesses, but lifestyles that reflect their passions and provide the financial security they deserve.

Let’s Build Your Financial Blueprint

Just as every design project begins with a plan, so does your financial success. If you’re ready to take control of your firm’s financial future, let’s build the blueprint together.

  • I started working as a bookkeeper for my uncle’s plumbing company. This also happened to be the year I met my now-husband, and we agreed that living abroad and working remotely was our dream.

  • I joined a creative design agency, and got my first taste of working alongside Creatives.

  • We moved to Las Vegas, NV. On a whim, I responded to a Craigslist ad which lead me to working with Michelle Montgomery Interiors (who, to this day, we’re lucky to still work with 😍), and was introduced to the world of Studio Designer.

  • 2016: Told my husband I was ready to leave the bookkeeping/accounting world. His response? “Suck it up, buttercup.”

2017: Still wanting out, I reminded my husband of my wish. His response: “You still need to suck it up, buttercup.”

2018: The begging intensified, but the answer stayed the same: “No! Suck it up!”

2019: At my breaking point, I pleaded again. My husband’s final verdict: “Caprice 😒😶 Figure it out and suck it up.”

  • I figured out that working across various industries wasn’t my thing. I realized my passion was helping interior designers thrive, so I focused exclusively on this niche. We brought on our first contractor 🎉👏🎊.

  • 2022: We hit and exceeded our first 6-figure year!

  • 🎉👏🎊 Realized our dream and moved out the country! 🎉👏🎊

  • We’ve returned home after a year abroad, and with our team of 5 we are solving the greatest challenges affecting interior designers.
